"In Manchester, people are taking Britain's ailing pub scene into their own hands—quite literally. They're building a pub, from scratch and by hand. Everything from the bar tiles to the dart boards is being made by the community, with workshops in pump handle turning and bar panel design running since January."
The pub that Manchester built - lovingly crafted by the hands of volunteers back in 2016, Pilcrow is a pub with community at the heart of everything it does. Serving the best in seasonal beer, as well as locally roasted coffee and loose leaf tea, it is also the home of Summer Beer Thing.
